    The business began as Budget Plumbing in 1987, with a focus on selling bathroom, kitchen and laundry products directly to consumers at trade prices.

    In 2005 the company’s name changed to Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre, reflecting a dedication to family values, customer needs and the provision of the largest range of bathroom, kitchen, heating, laundry and water solution products in Melbourne.

    The family business has grown to include more than 50 employees across 5 Melbourne showroom locations, a head office and a central warehouse.

    Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre differentiate ourselves with our commitment to a total solution and stress free customer experience.  What that means is that we are committed to ensuring that our customers are happy with their shopping experience right through to delivery and installation of their purchased products whether purchased online or in the showroom. 
    We recommend a visit to a showroom for a face-to-face personalised service if you require assistance with design or a specific product purchase.  If you are sure about what products you wish to purchase, then the online shopping experience may be more suited to your requirements.

    How do I search for your products online?
    There are options available to search for products online. You can use the search function at the top right of the website, select products on the top main menu or use the buttons on the bottom of the screen for new releases, specials and clearance items.

    If a product I am looking for is not displayed, how do I know if you sell it?
    Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 BOURNE to see if we have the product in stock.

    If a product is displayed, is it in stock?
    Bourne Bathroom and Kitchen Centre are dependent on our Suppliers to provide stock, and we cannot guarantee availability at all times.

    What is My Wishlist?

    We know that renovations can be stressful so we go the extra mile to make sure that your experience at Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre is as stress free as possible.  We are committed to offering a total solution and stress free experience and can assist you with all your renovation needs including planning, design advice, product selection and installation.

    We offer high quality products with guarantees to ensure your customer satisfaction and our dedicated staff are regularly trained and kept up-to-date with both product and industry knowledge allowing them to serve you throughout the renovation.

    How can you help entertain my children while I make some important renovating decisions?
    All five of our Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre showrooms are equipped with a child friendly craft area to keep your children busy while you shop.

    What additional services do you provide to help make my renovation process easier?
    We provide After Sales Service.  If there is an issue with any of the products you buy, we will call the manufacturer on your behalf and arrange for them to give you a call. We contact suppliers the same day you let us know about your concerns and then follow up with you 48 hours later to make sure the supplier has called you and offered you an appropriate solution.

Our staff will spend time asking the right questions to make sure that the information they provide is right for you.

    We have an extensive display of quality and innovative brands to inspire you.  Our expert staff will provide assistance to help you clearly visual your dream bathroom, kitchen or laundry – one of the first things we do is go through your plans with you.

    What services do you provide to help me with planning my bathroom renovation?
    Our expert staff can assist with all of your planning needs.  We’ll discuss budget, your goals and suggest ideas that you might not have thought of to ensure your end result is a bathroom that is both stylish and functional. Our online bathroom planner is a great tool enabling you to visually see your bathroom layout with selected products.

    Do you provide professional design advice?
    We are affiliated with a number of excellent designers.  Please come and chat to us and once we ascertain your specific needs we can put you in contact with someone who can cater to your needs.

    Can you help with installation?
    Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre offers installation of hot water and replacement products (link to installation) through third parties. Each showroom also has a list of local renovators that our customers have used over the years. We can provide you with the names and numbers of tradespeople that have helped customers realise their bathroom dreams.

    What shopping security does your website provide?
    Your financial security is our priority , therefore we use the very latest security technology to encrypt your personal information.  We use SSL technology to provide you with the safest and most secure shopping transactions.  SSL is the most widely used data encryption coding system for secure e-commerce transactions.  The following indicates that you have entered a secure session and will be present when you are required to enter your credit card details:

    We accept payment by cash, eftpos or credit card (Visa and MasterCard.)

    How do I know if my payment has been successful?
    You will receive confirmation of your payment and an order number for your reference.

    Which areas do Bourne Kitchen & Bathroom Centres deliver to?
    Yes we deliver nationally.

    How much does delivery cost?
    The delivery cost is $40 within the Melbourne metropolitan area.  Outside the Melbourne Metropolitan area, delivery cost will be provided on request.

    How long after I place my order will it be dispatched?
    Your order will be dispatched by the next business day assuming the product is in stock.

    Am I able to track my order and delivery status?
    When your order has been processed you will receive an email with all the relevant order information along with the contact details.  Should you with to talk to a member of our despatch team, please call 1300 BOURNE.

    Can I modify my order?
    Once an order has been received unfortunately it cannot be amended. You can place a new order for additional product requirements.  You can also cancel your order as long as it has not been dispatched. Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 BOURNE to check the status of your order.

    Do deliveries require a signature on delivery?
    A signature will be required on delivery of goods.

    What if there is an item missing from my delivery?
    Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 BOURNE and we will look into it for you.

    Products that I have ordered have arrived damaged.
    Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 BOURNE so we can organise a refund or an exchange for the damaged goods.

    What is your cancellation policy?
    You can cancel your order as long as it has not been dispatched. Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 BOURNE to check the status of your order.

    What if I need to return my goods because they’re not quite right for my needs?
    We will replace or exchange your product without question provided that it is returned in its original packaging within 7 days of purchase (proof of purchase required) and it has not been used.

    What type of guarantee do you offer on products purchased at Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centres?
    Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Centre provides a 12-month minimum product guarantee.  We stand by the high quality of all our bathroom, kitchen, heating, laundry and water products. Each and every product in our showroom has been rigorously tested to meet the manufacturer's own high standards of quality control.

    You can be confident when you buy with Bourne. If an item doesn't look or function exactly as intended, we will replace or exchange your product without question within 7 days of purchase (proof of purchase required).

    Do you offer special early opening hours for Trade?
    Yes, opening hours for the Trade Division are from 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

    Do you have Trade specialist staff members?
    Yes we have a dedicated division of Trade Specialists who work with a range of boutique and medium density builders, property developers and designers.  Easy online ordering is available (once registration is complete), in addition to phone and email ordering, on-site deliveries or showroom pick-ups.
